The 700-acre business park on Teesside decided to do something special to mark the 60-year reign of Queen Elizabeth II, whilst also rewarding tenant companies for their continued support.
Staff donned red, white and blue to distribute cup cakes, a box of tea, some bunting and other party items to every company based on the site.
And every tenant was also invited to enter a free competition offering a pair of return train tickets and overnight accommodation to visit the Crown Jewels in London.
Kimberley Anderson, Wynyard Park’s Executive Support Manager, said: “The close links that we have with our tenants and the level of support that we are able to offer them is something that sets us apart from most other business locations.
“We like to regularly show our tenants just how much we appreciate them, and we felt that the celebrations around the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee provided us with a perfect opportunity to do that.
“We decided to distribute some typically British gifts to reflect the patriotic nature of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations, and we thought it would also be great to offer a free trip to see the Crown Jewels at the Tower of London at first hand.
“The gifts and the competition were well received and we are delighted to have been able to offer them.”
Wynyard Park is currently home to around 60 companies and it supports some 2,000 jobs.
