The needs of employees at Huntsman are being well catered for… quite literally!

Titanium House, Huntsman’s new global business centre for its pigments division on the 700-acre Wynyard Park, has a Java Café restaurant.

Java Café is Wynyard Park Ltd’s own in-house bistro brand which until now has been based solely at its Wynyard Park House offices.

Jeff Hind, a director of Java Bistros – a subsidiary of Wynyard Park Ltd, said: “During negotiations about moving to Wynyard Park, Huntsman executives commented on how impressed they were with Java Café and as part of the deal that was agreed they asked us to replicate the service in their new premises for their own staff.”

“We were delighted to agree to this, and we hope the new facility will highlight to other large companies the benefits of moving to Wynyard Park in terms of the support services that we are able to offer.

“Java Café prides itself on quality food and service, and an all-round attention to detail. The new premises have been fitted out to a really high specification and look and feel great.”

Java Café’s expansion into Huntsman’s Titanium House building has resulted in the creation of four new jobs, taking the total number of staff employed by the bistro to 10 across the Wynyard Park site.

The new restaurant is being managed by Ashleigh Middleton with support from her chef dad Paul.

Huntsman is re-locating to Wynyard Park from premises at Haverton Hill and Wilton following the company’s decision to create a new global business centre for its pigments division.

Facilities Manager Debbie Hunter said: “The Java Café concept impressed us during our negotiations with Wynyard Park and we are delighted to be providing this service for our own associates.

“The feedback so far has been really positive, with many of our associates commenting on how impressed they are.”
