Tenants and staff back stylish new uniforms at Wynyard Park

Staff at a prestigious business park have been given a corporate makeover following the introduction of stylish new uniforms - much to the delight of both staff and businesses based there.

Since the start of the year the developers of Wynyard Park, the 700-acre site located between Hartlepool and Stockton, have invested thousands of pounds in revamping the workwear of employees who deal with the public. To make absolutely sure that the new outfits were well received by those who have to wear them, the staff were given the job of choosing the uniform style themselves. A team based in the Wynyard Park offices oversaw the process of finalising the new look, which includes contemporary styling and features Wynyard Park’s corporate colours of black and bottle green. Facilities Coordinator Anna Stone said that the real challenge came in selecting styles that suited all shapes and sizes. “We had to make sure we had something that would fit everyone, which ranged from a size 6 to a 34 inch inside leg,” she added. “In addition we had to match the green of the logo in everything from neck scarves to long and short aprons. She commented: ”It was a lot harder than you think!” Female staff were given the option of skirts or trousers and everyone was able to try on a range of styles until they found what they were happy to wear. Anna added: “The feedback from colleagues has been great with people saying the uniform is very comfortable. “Tenants can now spot Wynyard Park staff on sight and many have commented on how smart we all look.” The uniforms are aimed at benefiting site tenants and visitors by offering a consistent and professional image for the Wynyard Park staff they encounter. Development Manager Matt Johnson said that maintaining high levels of customer service and satisfaction is what sets Wynyard Park apart as a location for businesses.
