Wynyard Park team expands to cope with demand
A commercial property agent has been recruited to help further step up the pace at the fast-developing business park at Wynyard.
Andrew Wright, who spent 16 years with Storeys:ssp on Teesside, is the new Sales and Lettings Director at Wynyard Park with responsibility for marketing the site and related legal negotiations. He will also liaise with the recently appointed master planners, _space from Newcastle.
“After a considerable amount of time in private practice, my job at Wynyard Park is both a fresh challenge and a great opportunity to work on the client side,” said the 43-year-old.
Chris Musgrave, Chief Executive of Wynyard Park Ltd, said Andrew’s experience and knowledge of the region made him the perfect candidate to ensure that the site was developed to cater for the needs of a variety of potential clients – and at the right pace to meet demand.
“Andrew’s previous role involved selling all types of commercial and industrial premises, as well as valuations, lease renewals and rent reviews and, on a mixed use site such as this, that is exactly the experience we need,” Chris explained.
Less than three years after plans were announced for Wynyard Park, there are already more than 25 companies based there, employing around 1,000 people between them.
Said Andrew: “It is undoubtedly a superb business park that has achieved an incredible amount in such a short space of time but, with a masterplan covering the next ten-15 years, there is much more to do and I will be attempting to increase the numbers hand in hand with further developments.”
