Wynyard Wonderland as Christmas events sell out!

Teessiders aren’t letting the current economic gloom get in the way of festive party plans.

The Wynyard Rooms, one of the region’s top hospitality and conference locations, has had four times more bookings for its Christmas functions this year than last.

All but one of the Christmas Party nights being held throughout December at the venue located at the 700-acre Wynyard Park development between Hartlepool and Stockton has already sold out.

And its Christmas lunch events have proved to be equally popular with only limited availability remaining on Thursday 18 December.

General Manager Jeff Hind said that people are obviously not letting talk of recession get in the way of celebrating Christmas.

He added: “When it comes to the festive season people want the chance to enjoy themselves whatever the economic climate.

“We deliberately priced our events to offer high quality food, wine and entertainment at a price that offers excellent value for money.  The bookings show that we got it spot on.”

In the last 12 months The Wynyard Rooms has earned itself a reputation as one of the Tees Valley’s top function facilities.

Sell-out events such as sportsman’s dinners and fashion shows have brought the venue to the attention of a wide audience, many of whom are now keen to make a return visit as part of their festive celebrations.

Jeff commented: “Our success has come faster than even I expected but it has been well-earned.

“Those who have held or attended an event at The Wynyard Rooms have been delighted with both the ambience we create, the professional service and the high quality of the food we serve.

“Repeat bookings are the best sign of customer satisfaction and we have plenty of those – as our Christmas events show!”

Christmas celebrations at The Wynyard Rooms range from two days of top class, four-course lunches (on December 18^th and 19^th) to party nights every Friday and Saturday in December featuring a four-course meal and disco.

The Christmas lunches are priced at £11.95 per head and tickets for the Christmas Party nights are £29.95 per person.
